Guide to uniform at Llanwern High School
|Plain black with school logo.
|Plain white with a traditional collar and top button shirt that should be tucked in at all times.
|Black V-neck jumpers with the school logo are permitted to be worn along with the compulsory blazer. Blazer are compulsory, jumpers are optional.
|This no longer needs to have the Coleg stripe running through it.
|Trousers should be of formal appearance (not stretchy/lycra), plain black with no decoration. Leggings/tracksuit bottoms or jeans are not to be worn to school.
|Plain black, and nearer to the knee than not
|Plain black, fully enclosed (with a back and a toe to the shoe), no decoration, weatherproof and robust and suitable for school. No boots allowed.
Should be weatherproof and not have large logos (no hoodies permitted).Coats are not permitted to be worn inside the school, and pupils will be asked to remove them.
|Big enough for books and equipment.
