Ringland Christmas Fayre

December 4th, 2015 by Sarah Turnham

On Wednesday 2nd of December pupils from Year 10 helped to put on the Ringland Christmas Fayre for part of their Welsh Baccalaureate Community Challenge. Pupils were involved in the planning and preparation of the event and were on hand on the day helping with everything from setting up all the stalls to dressing up as elves and giving out presents in Santa’s Grotto!

Pupils were heavily praised by the Communities 1st staff who had put on the event and the pupils efforts helped raise over £300 for charity. As well as this they met the Mayor who thanked them for their contribution to the local community. A special mention must go to Jack Rogers who worked extremely hard (as all good elves do at this time of year!) on his 15th Birthday! Thanks to all that helped.
