Literacy Work at Ringland Primary School

Some of our Year 7 pupils visited Ringland Primary School last week for a ‘peer assessing workshop’. They were asked to assess Year 6 literacy work and tell them what went well and how to improve on their work.  Year 7’s English work was shared with Year 6 for them to also peer assess.  This was an awesome teaching and learning activity for all involved and helped the current Year 6’s with their imminent transition into Secondary School.
