Healthy Awareness Day

Awesome Healthy Awareness day at school where pupils were asked to try various types of cake that had been produced using different types of fat; reduced fat and sugar and replacing white flour with whole wheat flour. Pupils were often unable to tell the difference and were educated about the health risks of excessive fat and sugar in the diet. They were  also introduced to ways of adapting recipes to make them healthier.
