Achievement for All School Programme
June 3rd, 2015 by Sarah Turnham
Llanwern High School is taking part in the Achievement for All School (AfA) Programme. This Programme is being successfully used by over 2000 schools across the UK to:
- improve teaching and learning so that it is always very good; and
- involve pupils and parents more as partners in the school, helping us to find out what works best for individual pupils, what we should do more of and what we should do less of.
To do this our AfA coach, Jane Woodley, works with school staff to look at the different areas of teaching and learning over a two year period. After the first year more pupils come on to the Programme. Later the best practice will be rolled out across the whole of the school.
Updates on the Llanwern AFA Programme will be posted shortly.
